This song explores Emily's realization, after the end of a negative and unhealthy relationship, that everything this person did was manipulative and calculated. But she sees it so clearly now and recognizes her power in the situation. Whatever tactics he might try to win her over with again are useless. She won't fall for his tricks anymore.
